I never really thought much about buying lingerie. Being large, it was not really much of an issue until I met Mark. He didn’t seem to care that I was overweight. Things started really going great between us and I knew it was the time to “go to the next level” of the relationship. I did nothing but worry and then a friend suggested I stop at the lingerie store. I’m so glad I did!

When I went in, I was scared that little stick figures would come up and laugh at me, but the sales lady was heavy herself and made me feel at home. I went into the plus section and was amazed by what I found. Not only did they have sizes that fit me, but they had a wide variety. I guess I had never thought that being overweight didn’t mean you couldn’t be sexy, as well.

I ended up purchasing a few items that day. I really loved the red satin chemise and decided to wear that for my first night with Mark. It was flattering to my figure, offered support for my top, and was really sexy. When I put it on, I couldn’t believe the difference. I looked sexy, but more importantly, I felt sexy. Being heavy was something I had put up with for all my life and I can honestly say, until I bought sexy lingerie, I’d never felt sexy.

Needless to say, Mark liked the lingerie very much and I think I was able to feel more comfortable with him because of it. I now have a variety of lingerie items and don’t know how I lived without them before. Ladies, if you want to boost you ego a little bit, go buy lingerie. If you don’t have a store near you that offers plus-sizes, go online. You’ll find everything you desire and more.
